A Night In Paradise

Last Saturday was definitely a night to remember as t was The African & Caribbean Spring Ball at my Uni. A black tie event many had been looking forward to for months.

After being inspired by Jlo, who rocked a bright yellow wide-leg, low-cut Michael Costello jumpsuit at the American Music Awards. I decided I wanted to go for something similar.
I originally wanted the jumpsuit in a mustard/orange however, after trying to search the fabric store and finding nothing. I decided to go for a green teal material instead. The flowing cape-like sleeves is definitely what I love the most as it screams edgy and chic.

To add a little extra volume to this outfit my tailor suggested that a belt and a collar necklace was needed. They were both made out of ribbon I got from my local fabric store.

A classy clutch is a key component when completing your look, I’ve wanted this one for some time. And, love the size and the fact that its transparent. It’s different to the clutches I always come across. But it Is still minimal. Here’s a tip: Be Cautious of your belongings if you are opting for a transparent clutch.
